Here are some of the highlights from my trip:

  • Toured the beautiful "Plaza Del Toro" in Sevilla.
  • Ate churro and drank hot chocolate for breakfast... yummy!
  • The Cathedral in Sevilla, the 2nd largest in Spain, very very nice.
  • Ate cup noodle with tap water in Granada, because the hostress in our Pancion refuses to boil us hot drinking water!
  • Saw a cute police officer on the street of Granada. I asked his permission to take a pix with him (with my broken Spanish). ^___^
  • Woke up really early to stay in-line to see the Alhambra in Granada.
  • Took a bus to Gaudix. There, a nice man with his kid drove us to the Cueve Museum, where we were hoping to find Burros Taxi (donkies) to ride to the point of interests around Guadix. We didn't find any donky, instead, we met a funny French couples who were visiting the town also. However, we did get to see a family that live in the cave.
  • The "Mirador" look out point offered a nice view of Gaudix and Sierra Nevada.
  • Nice people at our Hostal Olympia let us leave our big backpack in the hostel. We then walked around in the labyrinth part of the town (Albacin) in Granada.
  • No sleeper available. Took the train from Granada to Barcelona (about 9 hours) sitting straight up. It was a rough ride! Kept waking up.. and many old men coughing on the train. #___#
  • Gaudi's architecures are... FUN!!! AMAZING!!! BREATH TAKING!!!
  • Went up and down on both sides of "La Sagrada Familia." The first Gaudi's architecture we visited in Barcelona.
  • Park Guell is a must see! Finally, free admission... (well, it's a park) I really enjoy the design and atomsphere of Park Guell.
