This is no doubt one of my favorite backpacking trips!

Here are some of the highlights from my trip:

• The Natural History Museum in London has got to be one of my favorite museums in the world. Its architecture was incredible. There was so much to see in the musuem and the admission was FREE!
• Walked around all the major point of interest in London on the 2nd day. Buckinghem Palace
• Carried our 16lbs. backpacks to visit Stonehenge in Salisbury.
• Hiking and driving through the beautiful Lake District.
• Took the Mary King's Close ghost tour in Edinburgh. It was quite creepy...
• There's no other place more inducive to studying than Oxford. I really like the environment and the atomsphere in Oxford. (Though, I assume Cambridge is very comparable. Too bad we didn't have the chance to visit Cambridge.)
• Met up with my relative who was studying in Leeds. We stayed in her dormitory, chatted and cooked dinner together. Next day, we took the train to York to visit the York Minster and Clifford's Tower.
• Saw "Les Miserables" in London the night before we came back to L.A.
• It was drizzling 9 out 14 days that we were in Great Britain. Good thing we had our light-weight raincoat / waterproof jacket with us. I normally dislike rain, but somehow I didn't mind the drizzling in this trip at all.
